Born in an area of Northern Italy rich with legacies of painters, artisans and architects, Anna was inspired early in life to capture reality and dreams through painting. Art studies was part of her school curriculum in addition to self studies guided by her innate curiosity and sense of wonder.
Her art production has shifted over time from the initial phase focused on charcoal portraits and still life to the current one where each painting is a captivating story on canvas: an explosion of colors celebrating the beauty of nature and the joy of optimism and gratitude.
Anna is inspired by nature, be it the green water of the Caribbian or the soft, oscillating moss on Savannah trees, and by the mysteries of human relationships of life and the vast universe around us. She is passionate about kindness, generosity, beauty, new learning and helping others.
Anna spent many of her early years in Vicenza until eventually moving to the United States.
As I paint, my primary concern is to engage the viewer in “self discovery” and to communicate the empowering messages of joy, gratitude, optimism, and beauty, thus leaving the viewer energized. I believe art-painting can be an agent of change in addition to an aesthetic experience.
